Terms of Service
Effective date: September 30, 2026
These Terms explain the rules for using LessonForge. Please also read the Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal data.
Agreement
By creating an account or using LessonForge, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you use LessonForge on behalf of a school or organization, you confirm that you are allowed to do so. Students under 18 should use LessonForge under the supervision of their teacher or school.
Accounts
Teacher access is granted manually by the developer; to request it, email the address in the Contact section below. We may decline, limit, or remove teacher access at our discretion. Keep your login details secure and give accurate account information. You are responsible for activity on your account. Tell us right away if you think someone else has accessed it.
Your content
Teachers keep ownership of the lessons, media, and other content they create or upload. You give LessonForge a limited permission to store, display, copy, and process that content only as needed to run the service, including sending it to the service providers described in the Privacy Policy (for example, AI generation and code execution). You confirm that you have the right to use anything you upload. Lessons you publish or share can be seen by the students, teachers, or link holders you share them with. If you believe content on LessonForge infringes your rights, email us and we will review it.
Acceptable use
Do not use LessonForge to: upload illegal, infringing, hateful, harassing, or sexual content; submit code meant to attack, overload, or escape the code execution service (such as crypto mining, network scanning, or fork bombs); access other people’s accounts or data, or get around security rules and usage limits; flood or scrape the service; or help others cheat on assessments in ways the teacher has not allowed. We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules.
AI-generated content and automatic grading
Some features use AI to generate lesson content and to grade essays, and a third-party service runs submitted code against test cases. AI output can be wrong, incomplete, or biased. Teachers should review AI-generated lessons before using them with students, and automatic scores are a tool to support the teacher — the teacher remains responsible for final grades.
Scored activities and integrity signals
During scored blocks, LessonForge may record events such as tab switches and window focus loss, which can adjust scores or affect badges according to the lesson’s settings. These signals show activity timing only; they are not proof of cheating on their own. Any academic integrity decision is made by the teacher or school, not by LessonForge.
Availability and changes to the service
LessonForge is an actively developed product. Features may change, pause for maintenance, or be discontinued, and we cannot promise the service will always be available or error-free. Keep your own copies of lessons, grades, and other work that you cannot afford to lose.
Disclaimer and limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, LessonForge is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost data, lost grades, or grading errors arising from use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid to use LessonForge in the 12 months before the claim, if any. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Philippine law.
Ending your use
You can stop using LessonForge at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or close accounts that break these Terms or put other users or the service at risk. What happens to your data after an account is closed is described in the Privacy Policy.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms when the product or legal requirements change. Updates will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Continuing to use LessonForge after an update means you accept the new Terms.
